During the warmer months, opt for a few polo shirts and in the colder months, pack long-sleeved and button down shirts. Do not forget to include at least one warm layer cloth such as a zip-up fleece or wool coat. A sports coat should be in your list if you plan to dine out.
Pack fewer pants than shirts. You can easily reuse them. With European style fashion, you need to make sure that you have at least a pair of khakis and a pair of jeans. If your planned trip is during the spring or summer, pack a pair of khaki or navy blue walking shorts.
A trip to Europe will never be complete without walking the streets instead of just peeping through the window of a tour bus. Pack worn-in sneakers since walking with a new pair may result to blisters. Add a leather shoes to wear at night or to go with your jeans. During the summer, wear slip-on shoes or sandals.
Accessories is part and parcel of European style fashion. It will allow you to blend in with the locals. Printed belts or colorful watches is a common sight among European men. Make sure to pack one tie in case you need to dress up for an upscale dinner. For cold weather accessories, pack a knit cap. For the summer, a lightweight scarf should be worn on the neck on warmer nights.
